Life happens. We do what we can to purposely avoid injuring ourselves, but sometimes things happen that we just can’t help. That’s life. The difference in holding onto an injury for weeks or months vs days or weeks is where injury prevention comes into play.

Some injuries can be prevented ~ if you have strong, stable ankles, and have decent balance, you are less likely to fall and twist or break something. If your ankles are weak, and you are unsteady on your feet, that air rock you just tripped over could be your undoing.

With my INJURY PREVENTION specialty, I’ll work with you to develop plans to stabilize and strengthen whatever is your weak area. Hip, shoulder, wrist, whatever.

Areas most prone to injury are:

  • Hips
  • Shoulders
  • Ankles
  • Elbows
  • Hamstrings
  • Lumbar area
  • Knees
  • Wrists/hands

If you are injured, I will work with you (and doctor or physical therapist) to help heal that injury so you can get on with your life.
